Introduction
The TLV902x-Q1 and TLV903x-Q1 are automotive-grade dual and quad comparator series. This series offers low input offset voltage, an integrated power-on reset (POR) circuit, and fault-tolerant inputs. It features an excellent speed-power combination with a propagation delay of 100 ns. The operating voltage range is from 1.65 V to 5.5 V, and the quiescent supply current per channel is 18 μA.
This device series also includes power-on reset (POR) performance, which ensures that the output remains in a known state until the minimum supply voltage is reached. After a short period, the output begins to respond to the input. This prevents output transients during system power-up and power-down.
In addition, these comparators do not produce output phase reversal, and the fault-tolerant input voltage can reach up to 6 V without damage. Therefore, the comparators in this series are well-suited for precise voltage monitoring in harsh and noisy environments.
The TLV902x-Q1 comparators have an open-drain output stage that can be pulled below or above the supply voltage, making them suitable for low-voltage logic and level shifters. The TLV903x-Q1 comparators have a push-pull output stage that can sink and source several milliamperes of current when controlling LEDs or driving capacitive loads such as MOSFET gates.
The TLV902x-Q1 and TLV903x-Q1 are specifically designed for the automotive temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and are available in standard leaded and leadless packages.
