Introduction
The CY74FCT399T is a high-speed quad 2-input register that selects 4-bit data from two sources (ports) under the control of a common select (S) input. The selected data is synchronously transferred to a 4-bit output register on the low-to-high transition of the clock (CP) input. The 4-bit D-type output register is fully edge-triggered. For predictable operation, the data inputs (I₀X, I₁X) and S input must be stable one setup time before the low-to-high transition of CP and must remain unchanged for one hold time after the transition. The CY74FCT399T features non-inverting outputs. This device is fully specified for partial power-down applications using Iₒff. The Iₒff circuit disables the outputs to prevent damaging current backflow when the device is powered down.
