FC905A is a high-performance Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 LCC module for WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity. Under the IEEE 802.11ac standard, the WLAN supports MCS 0–MCS 8 at 20 MHz bandwidth and MCS 0–MCS 9 at 40 MHz and 80 MHz bandwidths, with 256QAM modulation and a maximum data rate of 433.3 Mbps. FC905A also supports all rates defined under IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standards. It features an SDIO 3.0 interface for WLAN functionality and integrates 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz power amplifiers along with low-noise amplifiers.

FC905A is compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and features a Class 1 power amplifier for the Bluetooth transmitter. The module supports eSCO (Extended Synchronous Connection-Oriented) channels, enabling retransmission of lost packets to improve voice quality, and supports AFH to reduce RF interference.

With a compact footprint of only 12.0 mm × 12.0 mm × 1.55 mm, FC905A is well-suited for end products demanding minimal module size, helping customers effectively reduce product dimensions and optimize costs.

FC905A uses SMT technology, making it an ideal choice for rugged designs. The compact LCC package makes it particularly suitable for space-constrained applications requiring reliable wireless connectivity. The module also features laser-engraved labels with faster heat dissipation and tamper-resistant markings, supporting large-scale automated production to help reduce manufacturing costs and improve production efficiency.
