The CYP(V)15G0402DXB four-channel HOTLink II™ SERDES is a point-to-point communication module that allows transmission of pre-encoded data at signal rates of 195 to 1500 MBaud per serial link over high-speed serial links (fiber optic, balanced and unbalanced copper transmission lines). Each transmit channel accepts pre-encoded 10-bit transmission characters in an input register, serializes each character, and outputs it through a PECL-compatible differential line driver. Each receive channel accepts a serial data stream at a differential line receiver, deserializes the data stream into 10-bit characters, optionally aligns these characters to the correct 10-bit character boundary, and presents the characters to an output register.
