The ME6212 series are high-accuracy, high ripple rejection ratio, low-noise, ultra-fast response LDO linear regulators fabricated using CMOS technology. The ME6212 series regulators integrate a fixed reference voltage source, error correction circuit, current limiting circuit, phase compensation circuit, and a low on-resistance MOSFET to achieve high ripple rejection, low output noise, and ultra-fast response low-dropout performance. The ME6212 series is compatible with ceramic capacitors that are smaller in size than tantalum capacitors, and does not require a 0.1μF bypass capacitor, enabling further space savings. The high-speed response characteristics of the ME6212 series can handle load current fluctuations, making it particularly suitable for handheld and RF products. The output can be shut down by controlling the CE pin on the chip, with quiescent current under shutdown dropping to below 1μA.
