The TPL740 series is a family of high-performance, low-dropout linear regulators. The series supports output currents up to 500 mA, featuring low quiescent current and high power supply rejection ratio. The TPL740 series maintains stability with ceramic output capacitors ranging from 2.2 μF to 10 μF. The series offers a high PSRR of up to 60 dB at 1 kHz, making it well-suited for noise-sensitive applications where effective suppression of high noise generated by upstream power supplies is required. A quiescent current as low as 49 μA and a shutdown current of only 20 nA make the TPL740 series an ideal choice for battery-powered portable devices. Foldback current limiting and thermal overload protection circuits enhance reliability under heavy load conditions. The TPL740 series is available in multiple output voltage options, including fixed and adjustable versions, with output voltage accuracy of ±2% across all operating conditions. The operating junction temperature range is guaranteed from −40°C to +125°C.
