Introduction
AH3965Q/AH3966Q/AH3967Q/AH3968Q are AEC-Q100 compliant high-voltage dual Hall-effect sensors designed for applications requiring precise speed and direction sensing. To support a wide range of demanding applications, the design is optimized to operate over a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 27V. Using a chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator to provide temperature-compensated power to internal circuitry, the AH3965Q/AH3966Q/AH3967Q provide speed and direction outputs, while the AH3968Q provides two independent outputs at Q1 and Q2. To ensure stability and protection, the device features a reverse-blocking diode with Zener clamp on the supply. When the supply voltage drops below the minimum threshold, undervoltage lockout protection is triggered, freezing the device to prevent electrical faults from affecting the next magnetic measurement circuit, ensuring that output current state updates are always based on correct and accurate measurement results.
