Introduction
The AEDR-9830 is a three-channel reflective optical encoder. It is configurable for analog or digital output, utilizing reflective technology for motion control purposes. Optional configurations include: two-channel differential analog output plus a third channel differential digital or analog index output, or three-channel differential digital A, B, and I output. In analog encoder mode, the AEDR-9830 features two-channel differential analog output for direct connection to an external interpolator. In digital encoder mode, the AEDR-9830 provides two-channel quadrature digital output and a third channel digital index output. With TTL-compatible outputs that interface with most signal processing circuits, it enables easy integration and flexible design into existing systems. The encoder is designed to operate over a temperature range of -40℃ to 115℃, making it suitable for commercial, industrial, and automotive end applications. The encoder integrates an infrared LED light source and photodetector circuit within a single package. Measuring 4.00 mm (L) × 4.00 mm (W) × 1.05 mm (H), its compact form factor makes it suitable for a wide range of miniature commercial applications where size and space are primary considerations.
