Introduction
The Littelfuse LSP05GI Thermally Protected Surge Protective Device is a self-protected device specifically designed for outdoor and commercial LED luminaires to provide transient overvoltage protection. It incorporates Littelfuse's thermally protected varistor technology. The built-in thermal disconnect function provides an additional layer of protection, preventing catastrophic failure and fire hazards even under extreme conditions such as end-of-life varistor degradation or sustained overvoltage. The LSP05GI features a built-in LED indicator that signals when module replacement is required.
