Description
The VS-UFB80FA60 insulated module integrates two advanced ultra-fast recovery rectifiers in a compact industry-standard SOT-227 package. The diode construction and its lifetime control provide ultra-soft recovery current waveforms, along with overall performance, durability, and reliability characteristics. These devices are suitable for high-frequency applications where switching energy is not the dominant portion of total energy loss, such as in the output rectification stage of welding machines, switching power supplies, and DC/DC converters. Their highly optimized stored charge and low recovery current reduce excessive losses in switching elements (and snubbers) as well as EMI/RFI.
