SPDs are standalone protection devices or modules incorporating one or more circuit protection technologies. AC and DC SPDs are designed to meet the surge protection requirements of low-voltage installations, intended for DIN rail mounting for easy installation in standardized panels and enclosures. Bourns' SPD product portfolio includes AC surge protective devices, DC surge protective devices, signal and data line surge protective devices, and coaxial surge protective devices. These products feature a modular design with thermal disconnect devices, visual indicators, and remote signaling capabilities to ensure operational safety.
