Introduction
The APX803L is a micro-power voltage detector series used for microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuits to monitor the power supplies in μP and digital systems. It provides a wide range of detection voltage levels from 1.2V to 5.0V with 0.1V per step options fixed internally. It requires a low supply current level of 1μA (typical).
These circuits perform the supervisory function by sending out a reset signal when the monitored VCC level falls below a chosen threshold voltage level, and the reset signal will remain until VCC recovers to a level higher than the threshold voltage. The APX803L has an open-drain output with an active-low output pin and features several delay time options (0ms, 55ms, 220ms and 450ms).
The APX803L is available in two pin out variants of the 3-pin SOT23, SOT323, SC59 and SOT25 packages.
