The ACI Balco room series combines option flexibility with an attractive design in either a "-R2" or "-R" style enclosure, both featuring a four-way airflow design to minimize sensor self-heating. These enclosures are available in white for the "-R2" style or beige for the "-R" style. All units are designed for installation on a single-gang junction box or a wall cutout using drywall anchors. Screw terminal blocks are provided for connecting the temperature sensor, setpoint, "after-hours" override function, and a communication jack for easy access to the building management system. An optional 1/8" black foam pad with pressure-sensitive adhesive is available to isolate the sensor from hot air infiltration within the wall or wall surface temperature effects. A 1/16" hex wrench should be used to secure the cover and prevent easy removal. The "LCD" option uses two temperature sensors to monitor the ambient air temperature within the space.
