Broadcom AFBR-5803AQZ

Broadcom's AFBR-5800Z series transceivers offer system designers a range of products for implementing Fast Ethernet, FDDI, and Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) designs at 100 Mb/s–125 MBd rates. These transceivers are available in the industry-standard 1×9 SIP package with duplex SC or duplex ST connector interfaces. The AFBR-5803AQZ and -ATQZ are 1300-nm products whose optical performance meets the FDDI PMD standard. These transceivers, designed for 2-km multimode fiber backbone networks, are housed in a compact 1×9 duplex SC or ST package. The AFBR-5803AQZ/ATQZ is suitable for ATM 100-Mb/s interfaces and Fast Ethernet 100BASE-FX interfaces. Broadcom also supports additional physical-layer ATM applications beyond the 100-Mb/s multimode fiber interface.
