The VX_00021-C 10/100/1000BASE-T Copper SFP Transceiver, compatible with ATGBICS, is a high-performance, cost-effective module compliant with Gigabit Ethernet and 10/100/1000BASE-T standards as specified in IEEE 802.3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab, supporting data rates up to 10/100/1000Mbps over a maximum distance of 100 meters on unshielded Category 5 twisted-pair cable. The VX_00021-C supports 10/100/1000 Mbps full-duplex data links using 5-level Pulse Amplitude Modulation (PAM) signaling. All four pairs in the cable are utilized, with a symbol rate of 250Mbps per pair. The VX_00021-C provides standard serial ID information compliant with SFP MSA, accessible via the 2-wire serial CMOS EEPROM protocol at address A0h. The physical IC is also accessible via the 2-wire serial bus at address ACh.
