Introduction
SF2 - EH Series safety light curtains comply with IEC 61496-1/2 international standards for global deployment. They carry CE marking under the Machinery Directive and EMC Directive, C-UL US certification for the US and Canada, and are compatible with equipment conforming to OSHA, ANSI, and ANSI/RIA 15.06 regulations. Dual independent CPUs perform mutual safety status checking, achieving a high-reliability fail-safe design through dual-channel circuitry, with safety operation verified by FMEA. The sensor unit continuously self-checks internal circuitry, cable integrity, and external light interference. No dedicated controller required; sensors can be connected in series — up to 4 groups with 192 beam channels total. Up to 12 sensor groups can be closely mounted without interference. Optional front protective cover available. Effective aperture angle ±2.5° or less. Rugged 3mm-thick aluminum housing. Wide sensing area up to 1580mm × 10m. 13 models available with protective heights from 220mm to 1580mm. PNP and NPN output types. Optional slit masks and mounting brackets for easy beam alignment.
