Littelfuse low-cost interchangeable glass-encapsulated thermistors are manufactured using ultra-stable, high-accuracy NTC chips hermetically sealed in glass (DO-35 diode-style) packages. The resulting devices exhibit excellent long-term reliability and stability even under harsh environmental or temperature conditions. They are ideal for applications requiring interchangeability, which eliminates the need for costly individual circuit calibration. Their uniform dimensions and axial lead configuration make them particularly suitable for use with automatic insertion equipment.
