Introduction
This 6-ampere bidirectional solid-state switch series is designed for AC switching and phase control applications, such as motor speed and temperature modulation control, lighting control, and static switching relays. Sensitive-type devices guarantee gate control in quadrants I and IV to meet the requirements of digital control circuits. Standard-type devices typically operate in quadrants I and III, triggered by the AC line. Alternate-type devices operate only in quadrants I, II, and III, intended for circuits requiring high dv/dt capability.
