The Alvium 1800 C-240 features the Sony IMX392 and runs at 128.0 fps at 2.4 MP resolution. The powerful Alvium 1800 C MIPI CSI-2 camera series gives embedded systems developers access to Sony's high-performance image sensors popular in the machine vision industry. These sensors, with resolutions up to 20 MP, deliver excellent image quality and offer up to twice the frame rate compared to equivalent Alvium 1500 C models. To operate Alvium CSI-2 cameras on vision systems, Allied Vision provides different access modes: GenICam for CSI-2 access, which enables direct camera control via GenICam features using the Alvium CSI-2 driver and CSI-2 transport layer (TL); Direct Register Access (DRA) for advanced users to control the camera via registers; and Video4Linux2 access, which allows camera control through the established V4L2 API and applications such as GStreamer and OpenCV.
