Introduction
This surface-mount series features void-free hermetically sealed bidirectional TVS designs for high-reliability applications where failures cannot be tolerated. The working peak "standoff" voltage selection ranges from 5.2 to 152 volts, available in 500-watt and 1500-watt power rating package sizes. They utilize a hard-glass construction for exceptional ruggedness and employ Class I internal metallurgical bonds, making them suitable for high-reliability applications. Products in both package types also comply with relevant standards, available with no suffix and with an "A" suffix, covering different voltage tolerances. These devices are also available in axial-lead packages for through-hole mounting. Microsemi offers numerous other TVS products to meet varying peak pulse power and voltage rating requirements.
