MICROCHIP MRF24WG0MA-I/RM

The MRF24WG0MA and MRF24WG0MB are low-power, 2.4 GHz, IEEE 802.11-compliant SMT modules containing all associated RF components such as crystal oscillators, bypass and bias passive components, with integrated MAC, baseband, RF, and power amplifier, and built-in hardware support for AES and TKIP (WEP, WPA, WPA2 security protocols). These modules also provide acceleration for host applications running WPA-EAP application security. The integrated module design eliminates the need for RF and antenna design tasks and regulatory compliance testing, ultimately reducing time-to-market. The MRF24WG0MA module is approved for use with an integrated PCB meander antenna. The MRF24WG0MB module features a U.FL connector and is approved for use with a range of antenna types certified with the module. The MRF24WG0MA/MB modules are designed for use with Microchip's TCP/IP software stack, which includes an integrated driver implementing APIs for module command and control, management, and packet transfer.
