Introduction
The MACD-14 is a near-differential, ultra-miniature, normally open reed switch with a glass envelope measuring 14.00mm in length and 2.28mm in diameter (0.551" x 0.090"), capable of switching 200V DC at 10W. A surface mount version of this reed switch, the MASM-14, is also available. The insulation resistance is a minimum of 10¹⁰ ohms, with a contact resistance of less than 100 milliohms. Both reed switches are suitable for applications requiring low hysteresis between operate and release values.
