NVE ILDC11-15E

The ILDC1x series are ultra-miniature quarter-watt fully regulated 3.3V input isolated DC-DC converters, providing isolated 3.3V, 5V, or 6V output. The devices are offered in an ultra-miniature 3×5.5 mm DFN6 or true 8 mm creepage distance SOIC16 package, with the DFN version occupying only 0.015 cm³ — the smallest isolated DC-DC converter on the market. A unique ceramic/polymer composite isolation barrier provides a virtually unlimited service life. The devices minimize board space and component count, requiring only three external capacitors with no additional regulation and no minimum load requirement. Internal shielding and frequency hopping reduce EMI, requiring only a small number of stitching capacitors to comply with EN 55032 CISPR 32 Class B. A high-temperature process allows junction temperatures up to 175°C, enabling full power output at operating temperatures up to 125°C with no derating. Integrated short-circuit protection prevents excessive power dissipation.
