Introduction
The EVS Series Extended Vertical Liquid Level Sensor provides dual-position level switching and mounts to the top wall of a reservoir. The sensor features reliable sealed reed switches, with the body and float constructed from inert materials. It uses a moving float with an embedded magnet to activate one of two reed switches located in the sensor body. As rising liquid lifts the float, the magnet travels from the lower switch to the upper switch, allowing the two switches to indicate three distinct liquid level states. The sensor mounts to the top wall of the reservoir via an M16 x 2.0 threaded fitting. The output consists of normally open or normally closed SPST reed switches with ruthenium contacts. The electrical output is three PVC-insulated wires, available in lengths of 0.5m or 2.0m.
