Introduction
The PCM2900C/2902C is a monolithic, USB, stereo codec with a USB-compatible full-speed protocol controller and S/PDIF (PCM2902C only). The USB protocol controller requires no software coding. The PCM2900C/2902C employs the SpAct™ architecture, a unique system for recovering audio clocks from USB packet data. The on-chip analog PLL using SpAct achieves playback and recording with low clock jitter and independent playback and recording sample rates.
