Introduction
Artix-7 FPGAs are available in -3, -2, -1, -1LI, and -2L speed grades, with -3 offering the highest performance. Artix-7 FPGAs operate primarily at a 1.0V core voltage. The -1LI and -2L devices are screened for lower maximum static power and can operate at lower core voltages compared to -1 and -2 devices, respectively, to reduce dynamic power. The -1LI device operates only at VCCINT = VCCBRAM = 0.95V and has the same speed specifications as the -1 speed grade. The -2L device can operate at both 0.9V and 1.0V VCCINT, and is screened for lower maximum static power. When operating at VCCINT = 1.0V, the -2L device has the same speed specifications as the -2 speed grade. When operating at VCCINT = 0.9V, the -2L device achieves reduced static and dynamic power. The DC and AC characteristics of Artix-7 FPGAs are specified over commercial, extended, industrial, extended (-1Q), and (-1M) temperature ranges. Except for the operating temperature range or where otherwise noted, all DC and AC electrical parameters for a given speed grade are identical (i.e., the timing characteristics of -1M speed grade devices are the same as those of -1C speed grade commercial devices). However, only selected speed grades and/or devices are available within each temperature range. All supply voltage and junction temperature specifications represent worst-case conditions. The parameters included apply to popular designs and typical applications.
