SKYWORKS ACA2431P2

ACA2431 is a highly linear, high output power integrated RF amplifier designed for CATV headend and HFC distribution systems. The IC consists of two parallel amplifiers optimized for ultra-low distortion, high output power, and high breakdown point, housed in a thermally enhanced surface mount package. An integrated GaN output stage minimizes operating (bias) current, making it an excellent choice for environmentally friendly "green" initiatives. The ACA2431 provides high gain across the CATV downstream frequency band of 50 to 1218 MHz and is cascaded between two transmission line baluns. Figure 1 shows the block diagram of the ACA2431. The device package and pin configuration are shown in Figure 2. Signal pin assignments and functional pin descriptions are listed in Table 1.
