The HLMP-Pxxx series flat-top lamps feature an untinted, non-diffused truncated lens providing a wide radiation pattern, suitable for backlighting applications. Flat-top lamps are also suitable for use as emitters in light pipe applications. The HLMP-6xxx series round-top lamps serve as indicators, featuring a tinted diffused lens that provides a wide viewing angle and high on/off contrast ratio. High-brightness lamps use an untinted, non-diffused lens to deliver high luminous intensity within a narrow radiation pattern. The HLMP-6xxx series 5V subminiature lamps incorporate a built-in current-limiting resistor, suitable for space-constrained applications. All devices are formed by encapsulating LED dies on axial lead frames in a molded epoxy subminiature lamp package. Multiple package configuration options are available, including special SMT lead configurations such as gull-wing, yoke, or Z-bend leads. Right-angle lead bends with 2.54 mm and 5.08 mm center spacing are available for through-hole mounting.
