Introduction
WISE-2410 is a LoRaWAN wireless condition monitoring sensor integrating an ARM Cortex-M4 processor, LoRa transceiver, 3-axis accelerometer, and temperature sensor. It balances wireless bandwidth between sensors and gateways, reducing data transmission failure rates between edge devices and gateways. The sensor adopts a star network topology with gateway data relay functionality. Communication between sensors and gateways is conducted over wireless channels via the LoRa physical layer, while connectivity between gateways and central servers is handled through IP-based backhaul networks or Modbus protocol to application servers. Leveraging the ARM Cortex-M4 processor, users can implement more functionality on-device and calculate more complex feature values locally, such as VRMS, ARMS, peak, displacement, kurtosis, crest factor, skewness, and standard deviation. Its edge computing capability balances the load among sensors, gateways, and cloud services. The sensor features two 3.6V AA battery holders and, combined with proven LPWAN technology, delivers a battery life of up to 2 years at one-hour data update intervals. Its IP66-rated enclosure makes it an ideal choice for LPWAN applications such as pumps, HVAC systems, motors, and facility monitoring. WISE-2410 can connect to the WISE Studio utility for a more user-friendly and efficient installation experience.
