CSA220 is a high-precision current sense amplifier featuring an offset voltage of less than 60µV (max) and a gain error of less than 0.1% (max). The wide input common-mode range of 0V to 76V and 50kHz bandwidth make the CSA220 well suited for driving various ADCs in multi-channel data acquisition systems. The small package and low power consumption of the CSA220 also make it ideal for widespread use in portable devices. The CSA220 operates over a temperature range of −40°C to 125°C.

The CSA220 current sense amplifier features a 0V to 76V input common-mode range, independent of the supply voltage. This capability allows monitoring of battery current down to 0V and enables high-side current sensing at voltages above the supply voltage (VDD). The CSA220 monitors shunt current and amplifies the voltage across the resistor. High-side current monitoring does not interfere with the ground path of the load under test, making the CSA220 particularly useful in a wide range of high-voltage systems.
