The series features a built-in electronic cam (E-CAM) function, providing excellent solutions for flying shear, rotary cutting, and synchronous motion applications. The new position register control (PR) mode offers multiple control modes to enhance system performance. It also supports various industrial communication protocols such as CANopen, DMCNET, and EtherCAT, and incorporates full closed-loop control, auto notch filter, vibration suppression, and gantry control functions. Equipped with a 20-bit high-resolution encoder and outstanding high-speed pulse capture and comparison capabilities, the ASDA-A2 series significantly boosts performance, delivering a comprehensive solution for a wide range of machine tool and industrial applications.

• High positioning accuracy: ECMA series servo motors use a 20-bit resolution incremental encoder to eliminate unstable commands at low speeds, ensuring smooth motor operation and improved positioning accuracy; supports absolute encoder with 17-bit motor position retention during power-off.
• High responsiveness: Under no-load conditions, acceleration time from -3000 r/min to 3000 r/min is ms (Note: test record for 400W, 60mm frame size motor).
• Excellent suppression functions: Two low-frequency vibration suppression filters to effectively reduce vibration at the edges of long-arm systems; two auto-notch filters and one manual notch filter for effective mechanical resonance suppression.
• Full closed-loop control: Minimizes the effects of machine backlash and flexibility, ensuring positioning accuracy.
• Electronic CAM (E-CAM) function: E-CAM profile supports up to 720 points; automatic smooth interpolation between points for flexible programming; supports ASDA-Soft configuration software for cam applications such as flying shear and rotary cutting.
• Multi-function PR mode: Supports ASDA-Soft configuration software; supports new sub-modes beyond conventional point-to-point control; up to 64 programs applicable; motion profiles changeable in real time; supports 35 homing modes, jump mode, write parameter mode, constant speed mode, and position control mode.
• Capture and compare functions: Capture — position latch function locks coordinate values on the reference axis with response time <5μs, applicable for mark tracking with up to 800 records; Compare — position detection function detects positions on the reference axis with response time <5μs, applicable for CCD camera applications with up to 800 records.
