Mide's standard piezoelectric products leverage its Piezoelectric Protection Advantage (PPA) to protect piezoelectric ceramic elements. Mide's packaging also enables cost-effective system integration by incorporating mounting features and electrical connections directly into the piezoelectric package. Mide has been manufacturing packaged piezoelectric products using its patented process for over 15 years, typically producing 25,000 to 50,000 units annually. In addition to years of manufacturing experience, Mide has designed numerous custom electromechanical solutions integrating its packaged piezoelectric products to address a wide range of engineering challenges. The PPA standard product line is a series of rectangular piezoelectric packages designed for cantilever, bonded, or clamped beam configurations. Applications include vibration energy harvesting, vibration damping, precision actuation (particularly useful for haptic and valve applications), and vibration and strain sensing. Although this product line focuses on rectangular piezoelectric products, Midé can design and manufacture products in a variety of shapes and sizes.
