The KEMET T491 is specifically designed for today's highly automated SMT processes and equipment, making it the preferred choice for surface mount designs. This product meets or exceeds the requirements of EIA standard 535BAAC. Per J STD 020, the T491 carries a Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) of 1, with unlimited shelf life under conditions of ≤ 30°C / 85% relative humidity. The T491's standard terminations are 100% matte tin, offering excellent solderability and compatibility with today's SMT soldering systems. Sn/Pb terminations are available upon request for any part number. Gold-plated terminations are also available for conductive epoxy attachment processes. These devices are supplied in standard EIA 481 tape and reel packaging, fully compatible with all tape-and-reel placement equipment.
