Skyworks' ultra-low power digital isolator family are CMOS devices that offer significant advantages over traditional isolation technologies in data rate, propagation delay, power consumption, size, reliability, and external BOM. These products maintain stable operating parameters over a wide temperature range and throughout the device lifetime, enabling easy design and highly consistent performance. All device versions feature Schmitt-trigger inputs for high noise immunity, requiring only VDD bypass capacitors. Supporting data rates up to 150 Mbps, propagation delay is less than 10 ns for all devices. An enable input provides single-point control for enabling and disabling output drives. Ordering options include isolation rating selection (1.0, 2.5, 3.75, and 5 kV) and an optional fail-safe operating mode to control the default output state during power-down. All products rated above 1 kV_RMS are safety certified by UL, CSA, VDE, and CQC, with wide-body package products supporting reinforced insulation up to 5 kV_RMS. Automotive-grade versions are available for certain part numbers. These products utilize automotive-specific processes at every step of the manufacturing process to ensure the robustness and low defect rates required for automotive applications.
