Introduction
Implemented using high-quality bipolar process technology and innovative design concepts, the MC33071/72/74, MC34071/72/74, and NCV33072/74A series monolithic operational amplifiers deliver a 4.5 MHz gain-bandwidth product, 13 V/μs slew rate, and fast settling time without the use of JFET device technology. Although this series can be powered by split supplies, it is particularly well-suited for single-supply operation, as the common-mode input voltage range extends to ground potential (V_EE). Employing a Darlington input stage, the series exhibits high input impedance, low input offset voltage, and high gain. The all-NPN output stage is characterized by crossover distortion-free operation and large output voltage swing, delivering high capacitive drive capability, excellent phase and gain margins, low open-loop high-frequency output impedance, and symmetrical source/sink AC frequency response.
