Introduction
KP1030TPX is a highly integrated buck quasi-resonant LED constant-current driver switch. The high-voltage power MOSFET and controller are integrated on the same die. In addition, the chip integrates a high-voltage startup circuit and an inductor current zero-crossing detection circuit that requires no auxiliary winding. Leveraging this feature, the system operates in quasi-resonant mode while greatly simplifying system design. Comprehensive protection functions are integrated to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including VDD undervoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, over-temperature protection, LED open-circuit and short-circuit protection, and more.
