TI TL431BIDR

The TL431 and TL432 devices are three-terminal adjustable shunt regulators with specified thermal stability over the applicable temperature range. The output voltage can be set to any value between Vref (approximately 2.5V) and 36V using two external resistors. These devices have a typical output impedance of 0.2Ω. The active output circuit of these devices exhibits a very sharp turn-on characteristic, making them excellent replacements for Zener diodes in many applications, such as onboard regulators, adjustable power supplies, and switching power supplies. The TL432 device offers identical functionality and electrical characteristics to the TL431, but with different pin assignments for the DBV, DBZ, and PK packages.

Both the TL431 and TL432 are available in B, A, and standard grades, with initial tolerances of 0.5%, 1%, and 2% at 25℃, respectively. In addition, low output temperature drift ensures excellent stability over the entire temperature range.

The TL43xxC devices operate over a temperature range of 0℃ to 70℃, the TL43xxI devices operate over a temperature range of -40℃ to 85℃, and the TL43xxQ devices operate over a temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃.
