Advanced Photonix, Inc. NSL-5150

The NSL-5150 cadmium sulfide (CdS) photocell has a minimum dark resistance of 10MΩ and features a hermetically sealed TO-18 metal can package. Advanced Photonix cadmium sulfide photocells are light-dependent resistors (LDRs) designed for visible light measurement, sensing light in the 400 to 700nm range. Their resistance decreases as light intensity increases, with spectral response characteristics similar to the human eye. These LDRs are available in a range of resistance values, in either dual-lead plastic-coated ceramic packages or hermetically sealed TO metal can packages.
