Introduction
The LP3470A ultra-low power voltage monitoring circuit is designed to monitor voltages within a 1% reset threshold with hysteresis, and is pin-to-pin compatible with the existing LP3470 device. The LP3470A provides precise nanopower voltage monitoring with a programmable delay function. When the VCC supply voltage falls below the reset threshold, the LP3470A asserts a reset signal. An external capacitor can be used to adjust the reset timeout period. After VCC rises above the threshold voltage plus a defined hysteresis, reset remains asserted for an interval programmable via an external capacitor.
