Introduction
KP1511X is a highly integrated boost PFC constant-voltage power switch. The chip employs quasi-resonant operation mode combined with active power factor correction control technology to meet the requirements of high power factor, ultra-low harmonic distortion, and high efficiency. KP1511X integrates demagnetization signal detection technology internally, along with a high-voltage startup supply circuit and a high-voltage MOSFET. No auxiliary winding is required for demagnetization detection or power supply. With minimal external components, the system design complexity and production cost are greatly reduced. KP1511X incorporates comprehensive protection features to ensure safe and reliable system operation, including: VDD under-voltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle current limiting (OCP), over-temperature protection (OTP), output over-voltage protection (OVP), and output under-voltage protection (UVP).
