Introduction
The I91200 series is a system-on-chip optimized for low-power audio recording and playback, integrating an ARM Cortex-M0 32-bit microcontroller core. The device features a Cortex-M0 core running at up to 50 MHz, with 64K/128K bytes of non-volatile flash memory and 12K bytes of embedded SRAM. It also incorporates a rich set of peripherals, including timers, a watchdog timer, a real-time clock, peripheral DMA, multiple serial interfaces, a PWM modulator, GPIO, LDO, SDADC, SARADC, DPWM, a brown-out detector, and an under-voltage detector. The I91200 series supports multiple power-saving modes, including a deep power-down mode with leakage current below 1μA. A micro-power 10kHz oscillator can periodically wake the device from deep power-down mode to check for other events. Standby power-down mode maintains real-time clock functionality at a current below 5μA. In terms of audio capability, the I91200 incorporates a Σ-Δ ADC with an SNR of 91dB, combined with a programmable gain amplifier and digital-domain volume control, enabling direct microphone connection. Audio output is provided by a differential Class-D amplifier capable of delivering 0.5W into an 8Ω speaker. The I91200 offers eight general-purpose I/O pins with analog functionality support. These pins can be configured to connect to an analog comparator, configured as analog current sources, or routed to the SDADC for analog-to-digital conversion. They can also be used as relaxation oscillators for capacitive touch sensing.
