개요
The SiT5347 is a ruggedized ±100 ppb accuracy MEMS Super-TCXO with a maximum acceleration sensitivity of 0.009 ppb/g or 0.1 ppb/g. It is fully compliant with the Telcordia GR1244-CORE Stratum 3 oscillator specification and is designed for optimal dynamic performance, making it ideal for high-reliability communications, precision GNSS, and other applications with stringent clock stability requirements.
The SiT5347 leverages SiTime's unique DualMEMS temperature sensing and TurboCompensation technology to deliver optimal dynamic performance for timing stability in the presence of environmental disturbances such as airflow, temperature transients, vibration, shock, and EMI. The device also integrates multiple on-chip voltage regulators to filter power supply noise, eliminating the need for a dedicated external LDO.
The SiT5347 is offered in three device configurations, orderable via ordering codes:
- TCXO with non-adjustable output frequency;
- VCTCXO allowing voltage-controlled output frequency adjustment;
- DCTCXO supporting digital control of output frequency via I²C interface, with adjustment resolution up to 5 ppt (parts per trillion).
The SiT5347 can be factory-programmed to achieve any combination of frequency, stability, voltage, and tuning range. This programmability enables designers to optimize clock configurations while eliminating the long lead times and custom costs associated with quartz devices, where each frequency requires a custom design.
