DIODES AH3712-SA-7

AH3712 is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall effect latch IC designed for BLDC motor commutation, flow meters, linear encoders, and position sensors in industrial, home appliance, and personal care applications. To support a wide range of demanding applications, the design is optimized to operate over a supply voltage range of 3.0V to 27V. Utilizing a chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator to provide temperature-compensated power to internal circuitry, the AH3712 delivers a reliable solution across the full operating range. The output also features overcurrent limiting.

The single open-drain output is turned on by a south pole of sufficient strength and turned off by a north pole of sufficient strength. When the magnetic flux density (B) perpendicular to the package exceeds the operate point (B_OP), the output turns on (pulls low). The output holds and latches until the magnetic flux density reverses and falls below the release point (B_RP).
