The CPC1561B is a single-pole normally open (1-Form-A) optically isolated solid state relay with integrated current limiting and thermal shutdown. The current limit remains constant over the operating temperature range. Ideal for replacing electromechanical relays while enhancing application robustness. The CPC1561B can switch 1A DC or 1A rms loads up to 60°C.

The relay is driven and controlled by an efficient LED and photodiode array die, with an integrated monolithic die as the switch output. The protected switch die is manufactured using high-voltage dielectric isolation technology and incorporates switch control, active current limiting and thermal shutdown circuitry, and a MOSFET switch.

The CPC1561B integrates a thermal shutdown circuit to improve survivability in harsh environments, and is designed to meet regulatory voltage surge requirements when an appropriate overvoltage protection circuit is provided.

Specifically designed for AC or DC applications in demanding environments, the CPC1561B is an ideal solution.
