Introduction
This 8-bit (octal) noninverting bus transceiver operates from two separate power-supply rails. Port A (VCCA) is dedicated to 5V supply levels, while the configurable port B is designed to track VCCB, accepting voltages from 3V to 5V. This enables level translation between 3.3V and 5V environments, and vice versa. The SN74LVCC4245A is designed for asynchronous communication between data buses. The device transfers data from the A bus to the B bus, or from the B bus to the A bus, based on the logic level of the direction control (DIR) input. The output enable (OE) input can be used to disable the device, effectively isolating the buses. The control circuitry (DIR, OE) is powered by VCCA.
