Introduction
The FN2200 series are compact DC filters designed specifically for photovoltaic inverters, facilitating integration into the ever-shrinking enclosure sizes of power electronics equipment. All models feature an asymmetric housing design to prevent reverse installation and incorrect electrical connections. Used in conjunction with grid-side AC EMC/EMI filters, the FN2200 is essential for meeting international EMC standards such as EN 61000-6-3 and -6-4 and ensuring reliable system operation. The series is designed with ultra-low power losses, contributing to improved overall efficiency.
Features
- Installed between PV inverters and solar panels to help control conducted emissions on the panel side of the system, reducing the risk of interference radiation from the panels.
- Protects solar panels from high-frequency stray and leakage currents that may cause premature aging of PV modules.
- Helps meet international EMC regulatory requirements for the entire PV system.
- Provides the most compact standard solution in the industry; Type B available in models without line-to-ground capacitors.
- Rated current up to 2300 A.
- Maximum continuous operating voltage 1200 VDC.
- Operating frequency range 25 to 2300 A.
- High potential test voltage: P –> E 3600 VDC for 2 seconds, P –> P 3000 VDC for 2 seconds.
- Protection degree: IP 20 for 25 to 150 A models, IP 00 for 250 to 2300 A models.
- Overload capability: 4× rated current at switch-on, 1.5× rated current for 1 minute once per hour.
- Operating and storage temperature range -40°C to +100°C.
- Designed to comply with UL 1283, CSA 22.2 No. 8 1986, IEC/EN 60939.
- Flammability rating UL 94 V-2 or better.
