The 74LVCH322245A is a 32-bit transceiver with noninverting 3-state bus-compatible outputs in both the send and receive directions. The device features four output enable (nOE) inputs for easy cascading and four send/receive (nDIR) inputs for direction control. The nOE pin controls the outputs, providing effective bus isolation. The device incorporates 30Ω series termination resistors on both the high-level and low-level output stages to reduce line noise. Inputs can be driven by 3.3V or 5V devices. When disabled, the outputs can withstand voltages up to 5.5V. These features make the devices suitable for mixed 3.3V and 5V applications. To ensure a high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, the nOE pin should be connected to VCC through a pull-up resistor; the minimum resistor value is determined by the current sinking capability of the driver. The bus-hold feature on data inputs eliminates the need for external pull-up resistors to hold unused inputs.
