Introduction
Excelitas C30902SH avalanche photodiodes are high-speed, large-area silicon APDs delivering high responsivity with low noise. They are specially selected for use in Geiger mode (Vop > VBD) for single-photon detection, or in linear mode (Vop < VBD) with gains up to 250. The Excelitas C30902SH series silicon SPADs feature extremely low noise and bulk dark current, enabling high-performance data and ranging measurements. They are particularly suited for ultra-low light level detection applications such as single-photon counting and quantum communications, and for applications where optical power is less than specified.
