Excelitas Technologies C30737MH-500-80A

Excelitas C30737MH-230 and C30737MH-500 series avalanche photodiodes are high-speed, low-breakdown-voltage APDs featuring low noise and high responsivity, optimized for 800nm or 900nm wavelengths. These photodiodes are housed in an ultra-compact 1.75mm x 2mm SMD package. This series of silicon APDs delivers high responsivity from 500nm to 1100nm, with certain versions offering cutoff frequencies >1GHz and extremely fast rise times across all wavelengths. Available in standard active area diameters of 230μm and 500μm, the APDs are mounted on FR4 substrate leadless laminate carriers (LLC) for surface mounting, with epoxy encapsulation for low-cost, high-volume manufacturing. The package design and assembly process provide precise control of die position relative to the reference plane, facilitating optical element-to-package alignment — superior to many commercially available plastic leadframe TO packages.
