Introduction
CR5218 is a self-powered dual-winding high-performance primary-side sensing PWM controller with a built-in fast-start function that significantly reduces startup time. Internally, it employs multi-mode control efficiency balancing technology to optimize system standby power consumption and improve efficiency. It also incorporates primary inductance compensation technology and integrated output line voltage compensation technology to ensure CC/CV output accuracy during mass production. The built-in full-voltage power adaptive compensation technology guarantees constant current output across the full voltage range (90V~264V). Operating with a self-powered primary-side control scheme, it eliminates the need for TL431, optocouplers, and auxiliary supply diodes, and is capable of operating under dual-winding conditions.
